2026-2027 Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in the DESSO Foundation scholarship.

There are two parts to the application:

1. Application/Grades – please submit all parts by 26 April, 2026
  • Application form with essays/short answer questions.
  • School transcripts (grades/test scores) – partial grades/test scores up to the due date are acceptable.
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members and work history (if applicable).
2. Video Interviews – (10 June, 2026 – 10 July, 2026)
  • Will be held with semi-finalists.
  • (Applicants who are eliminated before the video interviews will not be asked to do interviews.)

Email additional documents (letters of recommendation, work history, and school transcripts) to dessofoundation@gmail.com.

Directions for filling out and submitting the application form with essays/short answer question (choose ONE of the following options)

1. Apply Online (preferred)

An online application (Google Form) is available. It is highly recommended that you view the application first and prepare your responses ahead of time. You may edit the form again after you have submitted, but you must keep track of the “Edit” link that is provided after you submit, otherwise you may have to re-enter all of your responses.

  1. Click on the link to fill out the application and submit online.
2. View/Print a Hard Copy of the Document
  1. Click on the link to view and print a PDF version of the application.
  2. Fill out the application by hand.
  3. Scan or take clear photos and email to dessofoundation@gmail.com.
3. Edit a Soft Copy of the Document (Requires a Google account)
  1. Click on the link to create a copy of the application (Google Document) that will be saved into your Google Drive.
  2. If you are not currently signed in, you will be prompted to sign in to your Google account.
  3. Fill out the application.
  4. Email or share with dessofoundation@gmail.com.

    Directions for sharing a Google Document:

  1. Click on the blue “Share” button on the top right corner of your document.
  2. Where it says “People”, type “dessofoundation@gmail.com”.
  3. Click “Done”.
